Intensive exchange of experience and innovations characterized the med.Logistica on 16. and May 17, 2023 in Leipzig. 960 participants from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland attended the congress with lectures, seminars and panel discussions as well as the trade fair on both days of the event. Together with Eugenio DeBiasio from Hirslanden, Rebekka Gisin from Swiss Post and Christoph Thurmaier from Sana Suisse Med AG, we were able to present various perspectives on the maturity of the supply chain in the Swiss healthcare sector.
What issues is the Swiss healthcare system dealing with in the field of hospital logistics? Can we in Germany learn from the solutions in Switzerland? Sana Suisse Med AG and Post CH AG provide the largest hospital group in Switzerland with purchasing and logistics services. This support frees up capacity at Hirslanden for the further development of its own logistics processes.
The presentation showed that a lot has already been done in recent years to achieve a higher level of maturity. With this tailwind, we want to continue to grow together in the area of innovation in order to achieve further added value. The congress showed that it is possible to learn from one another across national borders.
