The Institute for Organization & Management at Steinbeis University Berlin and Sana have developed a part-time certificate course in Leadership & Change Management Healthcare. Our colleague, Christian Engel, is a participant in this year’s certificate course and attended the second module in Berlin last week.
Sana promotes education and training as well as science and research in the healthcare sector. Sana Talents gGmbH pays the tuition fees for selected participants each year. The intention is to promote experienced (junior) managers from the hospital sector and related service areas, to encourage networking and to better respond to the rapid changes in the industry.
The participants come from different areas within the healthcare sector, so that the different perspectives from hospital management, hospital purchasing, industry, sales, personnel and many other areas are also highlighted in terms of content.
Within two years, students complete a total of 12 modules on various topics within the healthcare sector. In addition to practical lectures from the healthcare industry, the focus of the course is primarily on a change of perspective and personal development. First-class lecturers with many years of experience show a very high level of commitment in imparting knowledge and are in dialog with the students within the modules.
